On a class of paracontact Riemannian manifold
We classify the paracontact Riemannian manifolds that their Riemannian curvature satisfies in the certain condition and we show that this classification is hold for the special cases semi-symmetric and locally symmetric spaces. Finally we study paracontact Riemannian manifolds satisfying R(X, ξ).S = 0, where S is the Ricci tensor.
متن کاملSingularly perturbed Hamiltonian systems: the dynamics near slow manifold∗
When studying a slow-fast (singularly perturbed) Hamiltonian system in two degrees of freedom one can say unexpectedly much about its dynamics near its slow manifold. We demonstrate some details of this picture assuming the phase portrait of the slow system be known and generic. Since this latter system is in one degree of freedom, the problem in question is about the structure near the annulus...
متن کاملOn the Number of Interior Multipeak Solutions for Singularly Perturbed Neumann Problems
where ε is a small positive number, Ω is a bounded domain in R with Cboundary, n is the unit outward normal of ∂Ω at y, 1 < p < (N + 2)/(N − 2) if N ≥ 3 and 1 < p <∞ if N = 2. Much work has been done on (1.1) in the past several years. In [17], [18], Ni and Takagi proved that the least energy solution of (1.1) has exactly one local maximum point xε which lies in ∂Ω, and xε tends to a point x0 w...
متن کاملCanard solutions of two-dimensional singularly perturbed systems
In this paper, some new lemmas on asymptotic analysis are established. We apply an asymptotic method to study generalized two-dimensional singularly perturbed systems with one parameter, whose critical manifold has an m 2 2 thorder degenerate extreme point. Certain sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of canard solutions, which are the extension and correction of some existing r...
متن کاملFormal Solutions of Singularly-Perturbed Linear Differential Systems
where h is an integer and the Ak(x)’s are n×n matrices whose entries lie in the ring of formal power series in x with complex coefficients. Such systems are traced back to the year 1817 [10, Historical Introduction] and are exhibited in a myriad of problems within diverse disciplines including astronomy, hydrodynamic stability, and quantum physics [1, 5, 8]. Their study encompasses a vast body ...
